Celebrate all things green at the Minnesota Zoo April 19 & 20, 2008 as Waste Management presents EarthFest, a party for the planet, in honor of Earth Day.

This weekend will highlight hands-on, eco-friendly activities for everyone. Find out more about recycling, composting, green building and sustainable living. It’s a jungle out there, and we need to do everything we can to help protect and preserve our planet for all living things. You’ll learn about the Minnesota Zoo’s conservation efforts in our backyard and across the globe, including the Trumpeter Swan Restoration project and the Mexican Gray Wolf success story.

The Waste Management team will provide tips on recycling and you’ll gain valuable information from various environmental organizations on simple ways you can protect the planet.

This family-friendly event includes music and craft activities.
